Hecate, this dog is not bred for fighting. It wouldn't stand a chance with all that skin to hold on to. It's not bred for food either. For as far as I understood it's pure for show. I'm afraid that the mastino napolitano is going the same way as these dogs. The difference between the modern mastino and the type from fifty years ago is shocking. Confused

this is a gorgous dog i breed bordeaux's and english mastiffs and have always loved the neo and here we have them all combine i would love to have a breeding pair of these dosa's to introduce them here in canada form breeding mastiff type dogs i know they would be of high interest.

I can tell you that these dogs didnt look like the genetic mistake that the Dosa has become at one point these were spectacular animals. I too almost purchased one of the older style dogs from min woo lee But the asking price to import them in a breeding pair was outrageous I even offered to work with them to promote the breed here in the states, They would hear nothing of it. I was enamored by the "original dogs" and I spoke very highly of them. If one looks at the original dogs they will see how this is truly a Joke.

I have to agree with boomslang on this one i finally got my 2 dosa pups from red dragon but after 7 months of fighting and $10,000 dollars later i finally got 2 pups but one very very sick pup. so anyone planning on importing a dosa please be very careful with red dragon kennels. but if you want to see how great the pups look now you can go to my web site at www.masterdomainkennels.com hope to see you in my guest book soon.

Hope your pups are doing better now Todd, everyone loves to slag on this site but all dogs have their posivitives and like the Neo this breed may be worse looking health wise than it actually is, looks pretty muscular under all that skin to me, seen worse Neos personally!!

it looks like a good specimen to cross breed to a pittbull to get a good powerfull working breed otherwise the breed dos look a bit on the slow side and it has a lot of loose skin i would asume it has many health problems but who am i to judge the breed its the first time i have seen one untill i dont acshioly see one in real life i cant realy say but by loking at the picture it dos look on the slow and clumsy side but looks like good breeding potenshiol to produce other breeds i think the breed needs perfecting

to anwser the question about the age of this dosa i was told he unfortunatly passed about 3 years ago now but i was told he lived to be quite old which is pretty rare for this breed. and he was korea's number one stud for many years. he was used in alot of top kennels.
